According to Zhitong Finance APP, Carlyle Group (CG.US) announced on Monday that its newly established Canadian company, Avenrock Energy, has agreed to acquire Parallax Energy from Carnelian Energy Capital, thereby establishing a significant new light crude oil platform in Western Canada.
