Wells Fargo Launches Mobile International Money Transfers to 12 Countries

08:48 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wells Fargo (WFC) said Monday that it has launched ExpressSend Mobile nationwide, allowing customers to send international money transfers to recipients in 12 countries through its mobile banking app. As part of the service, Wells Fargo said users can send money from the US to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Funds can be sent to a bank account or a cash pickup location, the bank said. The app allows customers to track transfers and receive alerts, add or edit recipients, as well as see the exchange rate and transfer fee before funds are sent, Wells Fargo said. Although fees and delivery times vary by country, the company said the first transfer is free.
