This kind of independent surge breaking above previous highs is mainly for liquidating short positions, and it further highlights the importance of always setting stop-losses. Looking at the 1-hour chart, after the price spiked to 2667, it created a wick and then pulled back, indicating an overbought correction trend. KDJ and RSI are crossing downward again, signaling a potential closing of the gap between fast and slow lines. Those considering entering long positions need to be patient and wait. Pay attention to the area near the highs of the candlestick bodies at 9:00 PM (UTC+8) and 10:00 PM (UTC+8) on the 1-hour chart; light shorts can be placed around these areas, set stops above the previous highs. If it breaks out, take a small loss and move on to open at higher positions—the highs are established through such tests.
The 4-hour chart shows the Bollinger Bands remain in an opening trend, so there’s no unidirectional stretch in play. You can see that after breaking above the MA15, MA30, MA60, MA120, and the middle band resistance levels, the K-line directly broke through the upper band. However, the fast and slow lines’ golden cross has already formed an opening structure, so when pulling back toward the middle band and four-line support, you may consider entering long at lower positions.
