According to reports, Microsoft's planned data center capacity for 2032 includes both owned and leased data centers, but does not cover computing power rented from "new cloud" service providers like CoreWeave. Currently, of Microsoft's approximately 12 GW of data center capacity, only about 2 GW is used for AI chips. By 2032, AI-dedicated computing power is expected to account for about one-third of the total capacity.
