Braskem Extends Natural Gas Supply Agreement With Petrobras Through 2029

03:15 PM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Braskem (BAK) said Wednesday that its subsidiary Voqen Energia amended a natural gas supply agreement with Petrobras, extending the contract through Dec. 31, 2029, from Dec. 31, 2026. Under the amendment, contractual daily gas volumes will range from 300,000 cubic meters to 1 million cubic meters over the contract period. The agreement is valued at an estimated 1.85 billion Brazilian reais. The supply will be delivered at the entrance of the TBG, TAG and NTS transportation networks under a firm, non-flexible arrangement. Price: 21.49, Change: +0.56, Percent Change: +2.65
