Prelude Therapeutics Cleared by FDA for Phase 1 Breast Cancer Drug Trial

07:54 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Prelude Therapeutics (PRLD) said Thursday that the US Food and Drug Administration cleared its application to begin a Phase 1 trial for its breast cancer drug PRT13722. Patient enrollment for the study is expected to begin in Q4 and will evaluate the oral treatment alone and alongside existing therapies for advanced breast cancer, the company said. The experimental therapy selectively targets a protein involved in tumor growth, Prelude said.
