Kazakhstan says enforcement proceedings against Kashagan oil operator still on
Reuters2026/09/09 05:46ASTANA, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Enforcement actions against the North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC), which runs Kazakhstan's Kashagan oilfield, are continuing, country's Justice Ministry said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Russian news agency Interfax reported that Kazakhstan had suspended proceedings to enforce a more than $5 billion fine levied against NCOC by Kazakhstan over environmental violations.
