Sector Update: Tech Stocks Advance Premarket Tuesday

09:11 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were advancing premarket Tuesday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.6% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) 2% higher. Intel (INTC) is expected to raise PC CPU prices by another 10% in early October, Digitimes reported, citing supply chain sources. Shares of Intel were up more than 3% pre-bell. ASML Holding (ASML) said construction has begun on its second major industrial campus in the Brainport region of the Netherlands. Separately, ASML and Samsung Electronics said they will expand their partnership to advance High NA EUV lithography and semiconductor manufacturing for next-generation chips. ASML shares were up more than 3% premarket. Nokia (NOK) has launched Mobile Core Early Access, a live, hosted environment that allows users to evaluate how new capabilities operate before deciding on deployment, the company said. Nokia stock was up more than 3% pre-bell.
