Cardano price prediction for September 8 turns on whether ADA can hold $0.2132 after giving back part of its weekend rally. ADA trades near $0.2191, down 1.96% today, after climbing 3.31% Saturday and another 1.19% Sunday.

ADA gave back most of its weekend rally that ran through low-volume Labor Day trading, a session that tends to exaggerate moves in either direction.

Cardano price sits above the 20-day EMA ($0.2073), the 50-day EMA ($0.1967), and the 100-day EMA ($0.1995), but stays below the 200-day EMA at $0.2428, the level that would mark a real trend reversal rather than just a bounce inside a longer downtrend.

Meanwhile, on the Fibonacci retracement from January’s high near $0.288 down to June’s low near $0.138, ADA is sitting right at the 0.5 level, $0.2132, with the 0.618 level at $0.2310 as the next hurdle if it holds. Bull Bear Power turned positive again this week, only the second stretch of buyer control since a brief run in late August.

Type Price
Resistance $0.2310
Resistance $0.2428
Resistance $0.2563
Support $0.2132
Support $0.1995
Support $0.1967

Applied to ADA specifically, the same framework suggests the token could gain roughly 50% from current levels by December if the pattern holds, according to LuckSide. This is one trader’s chart-based framework, not a confirmed signal, and he was explicit that the September 25 date isn’t a guarantee.

Anonymous traders have reportedly bet more than $1 million that the bill fails before that vote.

The host of the same video made a related point worth noting: even with ADA up on separate news about a WhatsApp payments integration and a first blockchain asset audit from Grant Thornton Switzerland, he said he didn’t think either headline actually moved the price, pointing out that ADA’s gains lagged well behind sector-wide moves in coins like Dash and Zcash over the same week.

ADA holds the $0.2132 support and resumes the weekend’s spot-driven buying. A close back above $0.22 opens room toward the 0.618 Fib at $0.2310.

ADA loses $0.2132 and gives back more of the weekend rally. A break below the 100-day EMA at $0.1995 would test the 50-day EMA at $0.1967 next.

The gap between the DEX volume headline and Chainspect’s own transaction count is the more useful data point here than either number alone. A tripling in DEX volume and a falling transaction count aren’t necessarily contradictory, DEX activity is a narrow slice of total network usage, and a handful of large swaps can triple volume without moving the transaction count at all. But it does mean the “$2.90 forecast” attached to that headline is riding on one narrow metric while the broader network cooled into the weekend, exactly the kind of gap worth checking before treating a single volume statistic as confirmation of demand. The CLARITY Act vote on September 15 is the more concrete date to watch. It sits right at the edge of the Wyckoff framework’s own September 25 window, meaning the regulatory outcome and the chart-based breakout thesis land close enough together that a clean signal from either one would be doing a lot of the work for the other.

What is the Cardano price prediction for September 8, 2026?

ADA could extend toward $0.2310 if it holds above $0.2132. Losing that level risks a pullback toward the 100-day EMA at $0.1995.

Why is ADA pulling back today?

ADA is giving back part of a weekend rally that saw it gain 3.31% Saturday and 1.19% Sunday on a lower-volume Labor Day session.

Does on-chain data support claims that ADA’s DEX volume tripled?

Not clearly. Chainspect data shows total network transactions falling from about 26,500 on September 4 to 19,054 by September 6, the opposite direction of a broad volume surge.

What happens if the CLARITY Act fails its September 15 vote?

According to analysts, a failed vote wouldn’t end US crypto regulatory progress, since the SEC and CFTC are pursuing parallel frameworks, but it would remove a catalyst markets have been pricing in.
