- Johnston will lead global institutional distribution and sales enablement, drive organic growth, advance product innovation, based in Chicago.
- She reports to Northern Trust Asset Management President Michael Hunstad.
- Johnston previously spent 14 years at State Street Investment Management, most recently as head of distribution strategy for the Americas institutional client group.
- Her earlier roles included distribution posts at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Perennial Investment Partners, Merrill Lynch.
