Update: Cheniere Energy Shares Rise After Substantial Completion of Texas LNG Expansion Project

Cheniere Energy (LNG) shares were up 2.7% in Monday afternoon trading after the company said it achieved substantial completion of the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Project in Texas with the turnover of the seventh and last train of the project by engineering, procurement and construction contractor Bechtel Energy. The project expands Cheniere's production capacity of liquefied natural gas by more than 20% to 56 million metric tons per annum, the company said.
