SHIB outflows rise 79%, netflow hits 312.75 billion as price tests $0.000005

Shiba Inu’s exchange flow has experienced a notable shift as outflows from centralized exchanges surged by 79% in the last 24 hours. This marked increase comes at a pivotal moment, with SHIB’s price hovering around the crucial $0.000005 level.

Net outflows point to reduced selling pressure

Recent data shows that total SHIB withdrawals from exchanges reached 447.7 billion tokens over the past day, while only 134.95 billion SHIB were deposited. The result is a negative netflow of approximately 312.75 billion SHIB, underscoring a significant reduction in tokens available for immediate trading or sales.

Such a strong outflow trend is commonly viewed as positive for prices, since a declining exchange supply often indicates reduced sell-side pressure. However, analysts caution that while large-scale withdrawals restrict active liquid supply, this alone does not confirm long-term holding intentions among Shiba Inu investors.

Exchange data currently shows a net outflow of around 312 billion SHIB, suggesting sellers may be stepping back while buyers take advantage of the current price zone.

Withdrawals, particularly when they substantially exceed deposits, can signal rising confidence among holders or a broader shift toward off-exchange storage solutions.

Key metrics and support levels

Supporting this trend, the seven-day moving average for mean exchange outflows has climbed 127.82% to about 940.84 million SHIB. This period also saw a 1.16% increase in the number of unique withdrawing addresses, while outflows associated with the top ten largest transactions rose by 2.84%.

Exchange reserves have decreased by 0.36%, with platforms now holding around 86.95 trillion SHIB. Dollar-value reserves dropped 1.53% during the same period.

Shiba Inu is currently priced at roughly $0.00000505, having pulled back from a recent peak of $0.00000620. The $0.000005 mark remains a closely watched psychological support area, with additional technical backing observed between $0.00000497 and $0.00000499.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has settled near 52, reflecting neutral momentum after the recent cooling in SHIB’s rally. Notably, the latest attempt to push above resistance at $0.00000570, representing the 200-day moving average, was not successful.

Metric Current Value Change (24h)
Exchange Outflows 447.7 billion SHIB +79%
Exchange Inflows 134.95 billion SHIB
Netflow -312.75 billion SHIB Significantly negative
Exchange Reserves 86.95 trillion SHIB -0.36%
SHIB Price $0.00000505

Despite resistance at $0.00000570, current exchange flows and the reduction in available SHIB supply favor buyers in the near term. If SHIB manages to combine continued exchange outflows with stable support near the $0.000005 level, a renewed attempt at reclaiming the $0.0000055–$0.0000057 range could be on the horizon.

Hot weather boosts cooling demand, US natural gas futures edge higher, LNG export demand reaches highest level since late June

U.S. natural gas futures edged up slightly on Monday as recent weather forecasts indicate that most cities in the southern, eastern, and East Coast regions of the U.S. will experience high temperatures in the coming days. This is expected to boost demand for air conditioning and, consequently, increase the power sector’s demand for natural gas.
