This Analyst Just Dropped a Major XRP Price Alert
Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto), a prominent crypto analyst on X, has identified a recurring pattern on XRP’s monthly chart that has preceded every major bull run since 2020. XRP has now broken a long-term downtrend line, a signal the analyst says has marked the start of significant upside moves each time it has occurred.
The pattern holds across three prior cycles. After XRP broke this trend line in 2020, the bull run lasted approximately 365 days. In 2022, breaking the same trend line preceded a 122-day uptrend that reached a new high.
In 2024, it took approximately 242 days from that same breakout to reach a new local high. Every instance produced a rally lasting at least 122 days.
The Gold Ratio Strengthens the Outlook
Beyond USD’s price action, the analyst points to XRP’s ratio against gold as a separate confirming signal. XRP has bounced off a long-term support trend line in the XRP/gold ratio that has been in place since 2020. Each prior touch of that line marked the beginning of the next major bull run, both in gold terms and in USD.
XRP now faces resistance in the 0.0003 to 0.0004 range on the gold ratio. The analyst states that “whenever XRP breaks through this resistance, we see major rallies to the upside.” A breakout above that level, he argues, would set a new all-time high.
Short-Term Structure Holds
On the daily timeframe, XRP is consolidating after a significant upward move. The analyst describes the current price action as a potential bullish flag. XRP is holding support at $1.38, the point of control for a major volume cluster that held from February 2026 through May 2026. That level also aligns with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement.
If $1.38 fails to hold, the analyst identifies $1.30 as the next key support. He describes the current consolidation as healthy, with profit-taking expected after a sharp move up. The overall market structure remains bullish.
Monthly Support Holds the Bigger Case Together
Zooming out, XRP continues to hold a monthly support trend line active since 2020. The analyst notes multiple touch points over the years, including a brief dip below the line in 2024 that ultimately recovered. Each time XRP has tested that support, a major bull market followed.
The analyst concluded: “If you zoom out, it still looks to me that yes, we could be at the start of the next major bull market for XRP.” He acknowledges short-term patience is required while price consolidates, but his read on the higher timeframe structure stays bullish.
