Good evening everyone, I’m Xinya. If you followed yesterday’s predictions and full categorization, you could have captured profits from all three moves.
Let’s do a quick recap. On the hourly chart, BTC’s ema144 is at 77,800, ema120 and ma200 are at 78,200; on the four-hour chart, ema120 is at 72,500. Currently, BTC is moving around 77,600. The distance between the current price and the previous high is now the same as to the downside. Looking at the market ahead, I’m neither overly bullish nor overly bearish—let’s first see how price behaves around the one-hour pivot. The healthiest move would be for a four-hour consolidation, competing for the one-hour pivot.
For BTC, watch support at 76,800, 75,400, 73,700.
Resistance above at 78,800, 79,500, 80,800.
For Ethereum, watch support at 2,420, 2,405, 2,365.
Resistance at 2,450, 2,520, 2,565.
Find your own rhythm for trading—refer to the different position sequences. Either enter with a small stop-loss, or take a light position and add at the next sequence. As always, if you execute properly, it’s very hard to lose.
If you’re playing for a rebound, consider entering at 77,200 with stop at 76,500,
or long at 76,800, add at 75,800, stop at 75,000,
or play it safe by going long at 75,400, stop at 74,800.
If you’re testing resistance, you could enter at 78,800 with stop at 79,200,
or short at 78,800, add at 79,800, stop at 80,500,
or conservatively short at 79,500, stop at 80,200.
For ETH, go long at 2,420, stop at 2,402,
or go long at 2,420, add at 2,365,
or short at 2,520, add at 2,545, stop at 2,568.
Plan well—there are countless strategies.
Below are the two possible scenarios I looked at this morning. Either we test support and then rebound to test resistance, or we get a minor rebound during consolidation before continuing down. This process is very easy to be disrupted; after catching a few moves, it’s best to step back and observe. Wait for the test to confirm the next clear setup—just like me, using others as stepping stones.
The following is the record for the 28th.
