Electra Therapeutics Files For IPO To Fund Drug Pipeline

06:25 PM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Electra Therapeutics filed for an initial public offering to fund its clinical-stage pipeline targeting immune-mediated diseases and cancer, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing a regulatory filing. The company's lead candidate is a monoclonal antibody being tested in a Phase 2/3 trial for newly diagnosed patients with secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, a severe hyperinflammatory syndrome, the report said. The drug has received Breakthrough Therapy designation from the US Food and Drug Administration. Electra raised about $182.7 million in a Series C round in October and had $97.7 million in cash and equivalents as of June 30, Bloomberg said.
