Spot gold fell as much as 2.00% intraday, quoted at $4,509.51 per ounce; the main COMEX gold futures contract is now quoted at $4,560.90 per ounce, down 2.21% on the day.

The offshore OTC market's RMB-denominated gold price has dropped by more than 2% intraday, currently quoted at 965.7756 yuan per gram.

The price of gold in the over-the-counter market fell below $4,500 per ounce, with an intraday decline of 2% on the same day.
