Developer: These Are the Next 3 Major XRP Moves to Watch
Crypto developer Bird has outlined three major price levels he believes could define XRP’s next significant moves. He first noted $1.80, then the $2.70–$2.80 level, and all-time highs.
The analysis focuses on XRP’s current chart structure and the resistance levels it needs to overcome to move into higher trading ranges. Bird described the roadmap as straightforward while acknowledging that price action will ultimately determine how the setup develops.
XRP’s First Target Is $1.80
According to Bird’s tweet, the first major move he is watching is a push toward $1.80. He identified this level as the first significant structural resistance on the chart and argued that XRP needs to reclaim it to move out of its current range.
The developer’s assessment places particular importance on the $1.80 level because reclaiming it would indicate that XRP has moved beyond the immediate resistance structure. Bird did not present the move as guaranteed, but instead identified it as the first stage in the price path he is monitoring.
For XRP to advance toward the higher levels in Bird’s analysis, the cryptocurrency would therefore need to establish a sustained move above this resistance.
These are the next 3 major XRP moves I'm looking at.
1️⃣- Push towards $1.80
This is the first major structural resistance and the level XRP needs to reclaim to properly escape the current range.
2️⃣- Push towards $2.70–$2.80
Once $1.80 is reclaimed, the chart opens up into the…
$2.70–$2.80 Becomes the Next Major Zone
Bird’s second expected move comes after a successful reclaim of $1.80. He stated that once XRP moves above that level, the chart could open into what he described as the previous trading range.
Within that range, Bird identified approximately $2.70 as the next major historical support and resistance zone. His broader target extends toward $2.70–$2.80, making this region the next important area for XRP if the first stage of his roadmap plays out.
The analysis suggests that XRP’s ability to reclaim $1.80 would be an important condition before the higher target becomes relevant. Bird’s focus remains on how the chart develops from one level to the next rather than assigning a fixed timeline to the moves.
Bird Points to All-Time Highs
The third move in Bird’s roadmap involves XRP returning to its previous all-time highs. He said reclaiming approximately $2.80 would place XRP back inside its old upper trading range.
Bird also pointed to liquidity above the previous highs as a factor in his outlook. In his view, a successful move through the $2.70–$2.80 area could put XRP in a position to challenge those earlier highs.
His analysis therefore presents a progression from $1.80 to $2.70–$2.80 and then toward the previous all-time-high region.
Daily Price Action Remains Important
Bird emphasized that the roadmap still depends on daily price action. While he described the destination as clear from his perspective, he acknowledged that the market will determine how XRP moves through each stage.
For now, his analysis places $1.80 at the center of the near-term setup. A successful reclaim would shift attention toward $2.70–$2.80, while a move above that region could bring XRP’s previous all-time highs back into focus.
