Sales and revenue both increased! Lotus Technology (LOT.US) deliveries in the first half of 2026 grew by 39% year-on-year.
Lotus Technology's global deliveries in the first half of the year increased by 39% to 3,904 units, with revenue rising by 23% to 268 million US dollars. The launch of the new plug-in hybrid model "For Me" has driven growth in both the Chinese and global markets, with the multi-powertrain strategic transformation delivering significant results.
According to information from Zhidu Tong Finance APP, on August 27, Lotus Technology (LOT.US) disclosed its unaudited financial results for the first half of the year ending June 30, 2026. The company’s profit quality continues to improve, with gross margin steadily rising and a significant narrowing of all loss indicators, demonstrating remarkable results from refined financial management.
Financial report data shows that in the first half of 2026, Lotus Technology achieved a global total delivery of 3,904 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 39%, outpacing traditional luxury high-end car manufacturers. The product mix continues to optimize: deliveries of lifestyle SUVs and sedans reached 3,008 units, a sharp year-on-year increase of 57%, elevating their share of total deliveries to 77%, while sports car sales remained stable, reflecting balanced development across the entire product matrix. The core driver of sales growth came from the successful launch of the new plug-in hybrid model, For Me, which has received strong market recognition and helped the brand enter a new market segment.
Meanwhile, revenue also achieved steady growth, with total revenue reaching $268 million in the first half of the year, up 23% year-on-year, with strong growth in the Chinese market as the core driving force. Regional market performance showed positive differentiation: deliveries in the Chinese market surged by 60% year-on-year, outpacing the overall high-end passenger car market despite increasingly fierce competition. Global market presence is also deepening: Lotus For Me has been delivered in China and six overseas markets, and it is expected to enter the European mainland market in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the UK market by mid-2027, continuing to drive overseas growth momentum.
Company CEO Feng Qingfeng stated: "The first-half results clearly demonstrate that we are steadily implementing the Focus 2030 transformation strategy. The strong market demand for new plug-in hybrid models validates our multi-powertrain strategy and helps us expand our target market. The simultaneous improvement of scale and operational efficiency is encouraging, and we will continue to focus on creating long-term sustainable value. Looking ahead, we will resolutely advance the Focus 2030 strategy, relying on multi-powertrain product momentum, accelerating global expansion, and continuously improving operational efficiency. At the same time, through products like the Emira 420 Sport and the upcoming V8 hybrid sports car Type 135, we will continue to uphold Lotus’s racing DNA.”
