Digital Realty Trust Begins Construction of Switzerland Data Center

04:15 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Digital Realty Trust (DLR) has started construction of a new data center in Glattbrugg, near Zurich, Switzerland, the company said Thursday. The 6,300 square meter ZUR4 facility will provide 15 megawatts of computing power on a campus that includes the ZUR1, ZUR2, and ZUR3 facilities, the company said. Completion of the facility is expected in 2028, the company said. Digital Realty's European properties are powered by renewable energy, the company said.
