The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) crude oil inventory decreased by approximately 3.7 million barrels last week, dropping to 289.7 million barrels, the lowest level since 1982.

On Monday (August 24), late in the European session, ICE UK natural gas futures rose by 3.58%, TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures increased by 3.23%, and ICE EU carbon emission trading allowance (futures price) rose by 1.71%.
