Mpact FY26 H1 operating profit drops 15.7% to R 284 million

- EBITDA from continuing operations fell 4.4% to R614 million, while revenue from continuing operations rose 1.1% to R5.96 billion.
- Cash generated from operations more than doubled to R448 million, while net debt narrowed to R2.6 billion.
- Interim dividend was 15 cents per share; net asset value per share stood at R36.34.
- Portfolio optimisation advanced with the closure of the Springs BM6 coated cartonboard machine; Paper Manufacturing margins remained under pressure on lower selling prices.
