The Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE) has successfully completed its first cross-border delivery of TSR 20 rubber futures. The initial 600 tonnes of overseas standard warrants were generated by Thai Hua Rubber (Dazhong) Company Limited at an overseas delivery warehouse and sold through delivery, with a delivery value of 8.84 million yuan.
The TSR 20 offshore cargo delivered will be physically handed over at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand, marking the first time China's futures market cross-border delivery mechanism has achieved seamless process integration.
An INE official stated that the next steps will adhere to the principles of balancing domestic and international markets, serving the real economy, and ensuring controllable risk, steadily advancing the expansion and quality enhancement of cross-border delivery operations. Specific measures include further enriching the functions of overseas standard warrants, expanding the coverage of the delivery network, and continuously improving the futures market's ability to serve the real economy, thus providing high-quality financial services to support the development of the Shanghai International Financial Center.
