According to Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics has already repaid in full, ahead of schedule in the first half of this year, the 20 trillion won loan it borrowed from Samsung Display during the semiconductor downturn in 2023. Previously, Samsung Electronics had repaid 10 trillion won on April 23. Based on this, it is estimated that the remaining 10 trillion won was repaid additionally in late May.

Today's central parity rate of the US dollar against the Chinese yuan is 6.7808, down by 46 points. The previous trading day's rate was 6.7854. The US dollar closed at 6.7341 yuan against the onshore yuan yesterday, and at 6.7308 yuan against the offshore yuan.
