Finance Expert Releases XRP Price Prediction
Crypto analyst Austin Hilton has shared a detailed “no hype” XRP price prediction, calling for a near-term dip before what he describes as a significant multi-year bull run. His forecast covers specific price targets across multiple timeframes, all rooted in the four-year Bitcoin cycle.
The Short-Term Dip
Hilton puts XRP’s near-term target zone at $0.60 to $0.80, a potential 20% to 40% decline from current levels, arriving around the first two weeks of October 2026.
He ties this to Bitcoin’s four-year cycle, which he says began a bear phase in October 2025 and bottoms in early October 2026. He expects crypto to drop another 30% to 40% before that bottom. Tight liquidity, he adds, keeps bears in control for now.
Hilton advises holders to prepare mentally for the decline. “Don’t let your emotions, don’t let your panic step in,” he says, adding that the dip is a normal part of the cycle rather than a sign of structural collapse.
The Bull Run Targets
Once the bear cycle concludes, Hilton expects liquidity to return and prices to recover sharply. By the end of 2026, he puts XRP at $2.50 to $4.50, potentially marking a new all-time high. For mid-2027, his target sits at $5 to $7. Further out in 2027, he expects XRP to surpass $10.
He describes these numbers as “fairly conservative,” noting that stronger Bitcoin performance could push them higher. He also points to Ripple’s ongoing development work as a supporting factor, referencing RLUSD, real-world asset tokenization, and the broader Ripple ecosystem as drivers of utility for XRP.
On Bitcoin specifically, Hilton says if it surpasses its all-time high of $126,000 and moves toward $250,000, XRP targets would become even more aggressive.
The Cycle Argument
Some analysts have argued the four-year cycle is no longer relevant due to the rise of ETFs and institutional participation. Hilton pushes back on that view, stating “there’s not enough data to support that right now.” He continues to base his predictions on historical cycle behavior until a clear change in pattern emerges.
He also notes that passage of the CLARITY Act would serve as an additional positive catalyst for XRP and crypto overall. He acknowledges its status remains uncertain heading into Q4.
The Takeaway
Hilton’s prediction is built on a clear structure: a near-term drop to the $0.60 to $0.80 range by early October 2026, followed by a recovery that carries XRP to new all-time highs within two years. He summarizes it with the statement, “Short-term pain, long-term gain.”
