Haemonetics shares rose in Tuesday morning trading after the company said it entered into a supply agreement with CSL Plasma for its NexSys PCS devices and related disposables in the U.S.
Shares of the company were recently up 15% at $104.22.
Under the non-exclusive agreement, CSL may use Haemonetics' NexSys PCS devices with Persona PLUS technology and purchase related disposables.
Haemonetics expects CSL to transition a portion of its U.S. plasma-collection centers to the devices, though the scope and timing of the rollout have not yet been determined. The agreement doesn't include minimum purchase commitments.
Haemonetics said it isn't updating its fiscal 2027 guidance at this time and expects to provide an update on the agreement's anticipated impact on results during its fiscal second-quarter earnings call in November.
