web3: Ansem launches ansem.io, 500,000 ANSEM burned within two hours
The new platform launched by Solana ecosystem trader Ansem is now officially live. According to the disclosure, within two hours of launch, project teams destroyed 500,000 ANSEM on the market and distributed approximately $180,000 worth of token airdrops to ANSEM holders.
Establishing a Distribution Hub Around ANSEM
This product continues the approach Ansem previously presented in videos on the X platform. The core assessment is that the current token market rotates very rapidly, with numerous new tokens launching every day, but very few projects manage to sustain momentum. The platform aims to transform this high-frequency selection process into a model where “holding 1 token gives you opportunities to participate in a set of new project distributions.”
For projects launching tokens through this platform, a portion of the tokens will automatically be allocated to ANSEM holders. Project teams can also choose to increase the airdrop ratio. Meanwhile, teams with greater financial strength can opt for Gold and Diamond tiers, buying and burning a preset number of ANSEM to boost their position on the z500 leaderboard.
- 500,000 ANSEM burned within two hours of launch
- Airdrops worth approximately $180,000 distributed to holders
- Rankings are linked to burn volume and airdropped token performance
z500 Targets the Challenge of New Token Selection
The leaderboard displays two metrics: first, the scale of ANSEM burned by the project team; second, the valuation performance of tokens following the airdrop. The platform aims to present both the input by project teams and subsequent results on the same public page.
Ansem believes Pump.fun has significantly lowered the barrier to token launches but has not solved the issue of “how to select projects.” In this low-cost token issuance environment, developers can quickly create numerous tokens, spread their holdings across multiple wallets, and sell shortly after launch. It is often very difficult for regular traders to identify these actions in advance.
First Version Launched Within Three Weeks
Based on this assessment, z500 provides project teams with a more comprehensive token page for disclosing supply structure, project plans, and promotional information. Some projects must also buy and burn ANSEM as an upfront commitment. Ansem acknowledges that this mechanism still cannot identify all purchases made through undisclosed wallets.
Ansem stated that this concept was initially tested by distributing other tokens to ANSEM holders, including approximately 100 million NORMIE, with ZK compression tools used in the distribution process. This experiment was then integrated into a standalone platform.
According to current plans, this is the first version to go live, with additional features to be added in the future. ANSEM holders using Bullpen will automatically receive eligible airdrops at their existing Solana addresses; other holders will need to claim manually on the platform.
Additional Information: After the news was released, ANSEM's market capitalization briefly rose above $300 million. Ansem also noted that before taking over the project, the market capitalization of ANSEM during trading was about $200,000, which then rose to more than $200 million in less than two months.
