Anthropic's annualized revenue in July reportedly exceeded $65 billions, more than seven times higher than at the end of last year.

According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic PBC is currently growing at an annualized revenue run-rate of over 65 billion USD, more than seven times higher than its level at the end of last year.

As of the end of July, Anthropic’s annualized revenue run-rate had exceeded 65 billion USD. The annualized revenue run-rate is a metric that projects yearly revenue based on short-term performance. Anthropic disclosed this data in regular updates to its investors.

According to a Wallstreetcn article from last Friday, Anthropic achieved preliminary second-quarter revenue of over 11.5 billion USD, compared to just 787 million USD for the same period in 2025, representing a near 14-fold year-on-year increase. In the first quarter of this year, revenue was 4.73 billion USD. Adjusted operating profit for the second quarter also turned positive.

Previous media reports indicated that Anthropic internally projects its 2028 revenue to reach around 190 billion to 200 billion USD, far surpassing the 47 billion USD annualized revenue announced in May and the just-announced 65 billion USD annualized run-rate.

The rapid growth in revenue has further boosted Anthropic's listing plans. Both Anthropic and OpenAI have secretly submitted listing filings, and Anthropic could debut on Wall Street as soon as this autumn, potentially earlier than OpenAI.

Anthropic was once regarded as a follower in the AI sector, but is now gaining increasing market recognition thanks to AI tools that can simplify complex tasks, including those in the programming field. By the end of 2025, Anthropic’s annualized revenue had exceeded 9 billion USD, breaking through 47 billion USD in May this year.

Previous media reports stated that OpenAI’s current annualized revenue has also surpassed 40 billion USD. However, the two companies may not calculate annualized revenue in exactly the same way.
