- Shareholders will vote on the demerger plan to partially separate the UPM Plywood business into a new company, WISA Group.
- The transaction would transfer assets and liabilities tied to, or mainly serving, the plywood unit to WISA.
- Completion is targeted for Oct. 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
- WISA shares are expected to start trading on Nasdaq Helsinki’s regulated market on Nov. 2, 2026.
