The Syria-Iraq crude oil pipeline project is expected to cost at least $15 billion, with the construction period for supporting infrastructure estimated at four years. Syria and Iraq have each signed memoranda of understanding with a consortium comprised of Chevron, TI Capital, and Qatar's UCC Holding to conduct preliminary technical and financial studies for the project.
