XRP Whales Activated and SEC CLARITY Act Power Move
Digital Asset Investor has outlined several developments he believes could shape XRP and the wider crypto market, with particular focus on the Clarity Act, regulatory action, institutional adoption, and recent XRP whale activity.
In a YouTube video titled “XRP Whales Activated & SEC Clarity Act Power Move,” he presented the latest prediction market data while examining developments involving the SEC and the upcoming legislative process.
Clarity Act Odds and SEC Developments
Digital Asset Investor pointed to prediction markets that are tracking the progress of the Clarity Act. He highlighted data showing a 45% probability for the “Yes” outcome on whether the legislation will become law. He also noted that prediction markets are tracking potential Senate voting dates and the number of senators expected to support the legislation.
He then discussed the SEC’s cancellation of a planned crypto-related meeting. Citing comments from investment advisor Nate Geraci, Digital Asset Investor suggested that the cancellation could indicate that lawmakers are facing pressure to advance legislation rather than allow regulators to establish crypto rules independently.
He described the development as a potential SEC move that could encourage progress on the Clarity Act. He also highlighted comments stating that the SEC and CFTC remain engaged with the digital asset industry but face pressure from Washington to wait for legislative developments.
Digital Asset Investor also pointed to September 15 as a date to watch for a potential Clarity Act vote. He noted that Citigroup has urged the Senate to pass the legislation and highlighted comments from Tom Farley, who said clearer rules could encourage another wave of institutional participation in digital assets.
Ripple, Swell and XRP Utility
The video also examined criticism from Phil Kwok, who said an important participant in the XRP ecosystem needs to improve their efforts. Digital Asset Investor said he was unsure who Kwok was referring to but discussed speculation surrounding Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
He then replayed Garlinghouse’s previous statement that XRP remains central to Ripple’s strategy. Garlinghouse cited Ripple Payments, Ripple Prime, Ripple Treasury, custody and RLUSD as areas where Ripple intends to increase utility, liquidity and activity around XRP and the XRP Ledger.
Digital Asset Investor also highlighted the growing list of speakers expected at Ripple Swell, including Garlinghouse, Monica Long, David Schwartz, Tom Farley and representatives from major financial institutions.
XRP Whales Accumulate $72 Million
One of the most significant figures highlighted in the video involved XRP whale activity. Digital Asset Investor stated that whales had purchased approximately $72 million worth of XRP over 24 hours.
He questioned whether the purchases could indicate preparations for a potential market rally and said he remained prepared to buy XRP himself as conditions develop.
The video also covered tokenized assets, stablecoin regulation, institutional custody and security concerns surrounding artificial intelligence. Digital Asset Investor ultimately connected these developments to his view that regulatory clarity, institutional participation and XRP accumulation remain important factors for the market’s next phase.
