Tesla Stock Is on Track for a 2-Week Winning Streak -- Barrons.com

Tesla stock was edging higher on Friday, putting the electric-vehicle maker on course to notch a two-week winning streak.
Shares climbed 1.7% to $345.81 in early trading. They were up 3.5% for the week through Thursday's close.
There hasn't been an obvious catalyst driving the stock higher lately, although it's also been a solid stretch for the broader market, with July inflation data strengthening the case for the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged at its next policy meeting in September.
Lower borrowing costs tend to benefit growth stocks like Tesla, which become more attractive relative to bonds and other interest-bearing assets.
Still, shares have struggled in 2026 as investors worry about weaker profit, delays to Tesla's robo-taxi rollout, and overspending on artificial intelligence. Tesla stock was down 24% for the year through Thursday's close.
