Mizuho FY26 Q1 net income rises 66.78% to JPY 47.8 billion

- Net business profits rose to JPY 82.2 billion, more than doubled from a year earlier, while credit-related costs widened to JPY -16 billion.
- Liquidity coverage ratio edged up to 126.1% in FY26 Q1 from 123.2% in FY25 Q4.
- Basel III finalization CET1 ratio rose to 11.4% at June 2026 from 10.9% at March 2026, while the leverage ratio slipped 0.01 percentage points to 4.86%.
- External TLAC ratio on an RWAs basis fell to 26.02% at June 2026 from 26.38% at March 2026.
