Japan's Katayama declines to comment on effectiveness of joint intervention
Japan's Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama declined to comment on effectiveness of joint intervention with the US Department of the Treasury, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
Early Monday, Katayama stated that Tokyo and Washington conducted coordinated Yen-buying intervention and will not hesitate to take further action.
