Microsoft shares are on course for their biggest percentage gain since 2008.
The company reported last night earnings that beat Wall Street expectations, including a profit increase of 31% and robust cloud growth. Critically, the company stayed cash-flow positive, unlike some other hyperscalers. Meta shares, in contrast, opened nearly 10% lower after investors pushed the company on how much more it plans to spend on its AI efforts.
