Under the Radar: MarketAxess Stock Surges on Deal With NYSE Owner -- WSJ
Dow Jones2026/07/30 13:27Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, agreed to acquire MarketAxess, an electronic trading platform for bond markets, for $6 billion.
ICE will pay $167 a share in cash for MarketAxess, a 33% premium to the company's Wednesday closing price. The stock jumped about 30% in premarket trading.
