POSCO Holdings Q2 FY26 operating profit rises 15.9% to KRW 0.82 trillion; revenue increases 7.7% to KRW 19.26 trillion QoQ
Reuters2026/07/30 13:13- POSCO Holdings posted Q2 2026 revenue of KRW 19.26 trillion, up 7.7% from Q1, while operating profit rose 15.9% to KRW 0.82 trillion.
- Profit attributable to owners of the controlling company climbed 46.6% from Q1 to KRW 0.68 trillion, as profit before income tax increased 20.4% to KRW 0.91 trillion.
- Operating margin widened 0.3 percentage points from Q1 to 4.3%, while net debt rose KRW 742 billion to KRW 16.11 trillion.
- Steel revenue increased to KRW 15.39 trillion from Q1, while rechargeable battery materials returned to operating profit of KRW 41 billion.
- Key updates included an agreement with Anson Resources on a DLE lithium demo plant in Utah, groundbreaking for a Pohang LFP cathode plant, and completion of a 2.5Mtpa EAF at Gwangyang.
