Campari's Share Premium Looks Deserved -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/07/30 10:311030 GMT - Campari shares deserve a higher rating, analysts at Bernstein say. The Milan-listed distiller behind Aperol bitters, Wild Turkey bourbon and Espolon tequila booked 2.7% organic sales growth over the year's first half, which looks "easily the best" rate in the spirits industry, Bernstein says. Profit also looks better than solid at the group, the analysts say. "Campari is trading at a premium to spirits peers but we think this is fully justified," they say. Bernstein has an outperform rating and a 10.80-euro target on the stock. Shares gain 3.1% to 6.10 euros. (joshua.kirby@wsj.com; @joshualeokirby)
