Suzuki starts commercial production at fourth Hansalpur plant in India, adds 250,000 units capacity

- The new line will build the e VITARA battery-electric vehicle.
- Hansalpur’s total annual capacity rises to 1 million vehicles, Suzuki’s first single site to reach that level.
- Total annual production capacity in India increases to 2.9 million vehicles across four manufacturing sites.
- Maruti Suzuki agreed with Gujarat in January 2024 to build a new Sanand plant by 2029 with 250,000 annual capacity.
