Crypto market analyst ChartNerd has outlined a bullish long-term forecast for XRP, identifying potential price targets of $8, $13, and $27 if historical trading patterns persist.
XRP targets $8, $13, and $27 in long-term forecast as analyst highlights price structure
Fibonacci extensions signal ambitious price targets
ChartNerd’s outlook is based on XRP’s historical price action and the use of Fibonacci extension levels, a technical analysis tool often employed to identify potential resistance and support points after a major price move. The analyst notes that a recurring accumulation pattern has been observed in XRP’s trading history, which could pave the way for another significant rally.
He emphasized that XRP must first complete a crucial “touchdown” phase to establish a solid foundation for its next upward run. Once this phase is accomplished, ChartNerd believes the cryptocurrency could begin advancing toward three key Fibonacci targets. These levels are set at $8 for the 1.273 extension, $13 for the 1.414 extension, and $27 for the 1.618 extension.
When the touchdown is successful, $XRP will build the base it needs for a move toward $8 at the 1.273 FIB, $13 at the 1.414 FIB, and $27 at the 1.618 FIB. All these extensions were reached in prior cycles and remain possible targets as long as XRP trades above its 2020 lows, with projections based on historical data.
ChartNerd pointed out that these specific levels were met during previous bull cycles and are considered achievable as long as XRP holds above its 2020 low point. The analyst describes these price goals as “data-led potentials,” rather than predictions with certainty.

Accumulation phases and Gaussian regression
In a follow-up analysis, ChartNerd explored XRP’s current position relative to its Gaussian regression bands, which are statistical curves used to identify longer-term price trends and key support or resistance areas.
He observed that XRP typically enters a prolonged accumulation phase each time it returns to the middle of the Gaussian regression band. During these periods, the asset often consolidates for several months before attempting a larger breakout.
Multiple historical cases are highlighted in his analysis, with notable consolidation zones marked by red circles and a green Gaussian curve depicting the overall trend.
The analyst reported that after interacting with the middle regression band, XRP often establishes a lengthy base, regardless of whether it trades slightly above, below, or directly on the band. ChartNerd expects this pattern to repeat if XRP revisits the same technical level before any further rally.
Currently, the middle Gaussian regression band for XRP is positioned around $0.88. ChartNerd anticipates that this level will gradually rise and eventually converge with XRP’s price, potentially signaling the start of a new accumulation phase.
While no specific timeline is provided for reaching the projected price targets, the analyst stressed that confirming a successful accumulation base is a prerequisite before XRP can move toward the Fibonacci extension objectives of $8, $13, and $27.
Mini dictionary: Gaussian regression bands are statistical tools used in technical analysis to visualize average price movement and standard deviation over a period. They help identify potential support and resistance levels by showing where prices are likely to revert after deviating from the mean.
Data from prior cycles supports the idea that each significant rally in $XRP begins with a base built after extended periods of price consolidation near the middle regression band.
