Core Scientific Stock Jumps on AMD Data-Center Deal -- WSJ

Shares in AI infrastructure provider Core Scientific jumped around 5% in premarket trading after it announced a deal with chip maker AMD.
The deal's initial phase would see AMD use 500 megawatts of Core Scientific data-center capacity by 2027. The data centers would contain AMD chips used by the chip maker's end-use customers. The total deal could eventually grow to 2.5 gigawatts of capacity.
AMD will receive an unspecified number of "market price warrants" to buy Core Scientific stock. AMD's shares slumped about 5% in premarket trading.
