On the 27th, Yemen's Houthi forces announced that they had deployed multiple drones to strike infrastructure related to Saudi Arabia's crude oil transportation network. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Sare’e said in a statement on social media that the group used several drones to attack “multiple sensitive targets and facilities” used to transport crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea’s Yanbu port. Sare’e stated that this operation was in response to "Saudi drones violating Yemeni airspace." (Xinhua News Agency)
