On Monday, shares of U.S. quantum computing leader D-Wave Quantum (QBTS.US) surged more than 10% at the open and were up over 17% as of press time.

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on Monday, the share price of leading U.S. quantum computing company D-Wave Quantum (QBTS.US) surged more than 10% at the open, with gains exceeding 17% as of press time. News reports indicate that the company announced a new collaboration agreement with AT&T (T.US), one of the three major U.S. telecom operators, to expand the telecom giant's use of its quantum computing technology in high-speed network technology optimization.

It is understood that AT&T initially plans to integrate D-Wave’s quantum annealing computing technology into the tools supporting its proprietary agentic AI solutions. By leveraging quantum computing to improve fault detection and network management technologies, these solutions have already helped reduce customer service downtime by approximately 12 million hours in 2025.
