German construction group Hochtief raised its earnings forecast for 2026, supported by the data-center buildout that is boosting business at its U.S. subsidiary, Turner.
The Frankfurt-listed group said it expects operational net profit for the financial year of between 1.025 billion euros and 1.1 billion euros ($1.17 billion to $1.25 billion), up from a previous forecast range of 950 million-1.025 billion euros.
The new forecast represents an increase of between 30% and 40% on year.
"This guidance increase is based on positive business performance and is mainly driven by Turner, which is experiencing very strong demand growth in the data center market," Hochtief said.
Investors had been expecting an upgrade to Hochtief's guidance at some point this year, Jefferies analysts wrote in a recent note to clients.
Hochtief, majority owned by Spain's ACS, is set to report half-year earnings later Monday.
