Odaily reports that according to SoSoValue data, as of 8:00 AM Eastern Time on July 27, 2026, the total net weekly Bitcoin sales by publicly listed companies worldwide (excluding mining companies) reached 15.92 million dollars, representing a decrease of 1,296.99% compared to the previous week.
Official documents show that Strategy did not purchase Bitcoin last week. Between July 20 and 26, it sold approximately 5.43 million shares of MSTR, earning a net gain of 544.5 million dollars, and spent 25 million dollars to repurchase 288,930 shares of STRC preferred stock.
Japanese listed company Metaplanet did not purchase Bitcoin last week.
In addition, 3 other companies either bought or sold Bitcoin last week. KULR, a provider of aerospace-grade defense battery thermal management and security solutions, announced on July 24 that, between July 9 and July 23, 2026, it earned approximately 21.5 million dollars by selling 333 Bitcoin at a price of $64,538 each, reducing its total holdings to about 760 Bitcoin; asset management company Strive announced on July 27 that it spent 5.19 million dollars to buy 79 Bitcoin at $65,723 each, increasing its total holdings to about 20,000 Bitcoin; Brazilian Bitcoin company OrangeBTC announced on July 27 that it spent 394,500 dollars to purchase 6 Bitcoin at $65,742 each, raising its total holdings to 3,918 Bitcoin.
Metaplanet subsidiary Bitcoin Japan announced that it has reached an agreement on a convertible bond financing with EVO Fund and plans to raise 9.66 billion yen (about 59.5 million dollars) to establish a crypto asset treasury.
As of publication, publicly listed companies worldwide (excluding mining companies) in the statistics collectively hold a total of 1,139,480 Bitcoin, down 0.02% from last week, with a current market value of approximately 7.416 billion dollars, accounting for 5.7% of Bitcoin's circulating market capitalization.
