Securitize’s subsidiary completes SEC investment adviser registration, expanding tokenization infrastructure deployment
Foresight News reported, citing CoinDesk, that the tokenization infrastructure company Securitize’s subsidiary, Securitize Capital, has completed its registration as an investment adviser with the US SEC. Previously, Securitize already held multiple regulatory licenses, including those for broker-dealer, alternative trading system (ATS), transfer agent, and fund administration; this new registration further enriches its compliant business framework. Securitize stated that the new license will provide broader support for serving more asset management firms and institutional investors exploring on-chain investment strategies. The company has already established partnerships with asset management institutions such as BlackRock, Apollo, KKR, and VanEck, and is responsible for issuing BlackRock's BUIDL tokenized money market fund, while also cooperating with the New York Stock Exchange to build tokenized securities trading infrastructure.
