Pundit Predicts What XRP Would Be Worth Once It Replaces SWIFT
Crypto enthusiast Mino (@Ripple_Mino) recently posted a valuation that ties a $15,000 price target directly to XRP’s design, and the argument rests on the mathematics built into the asset from day one.
Mino stated, “When XRP replaces Swift, it will be valued beyond $15,000 per token.”
When XRP replaces Swift, it will be valued beyond $15,000 per token.
The original token design allowed for such a valuation as 1 XRP can be divided into 1,000,000 smaller units known as drops.
So 1 Drop = 0.000001 XRP

The Role of Drops in the Valuation Case
The foundation of Mino’s argument is XRP’s divisibility. The token breaks down into units called drops. While the digital asset has a total supply of 100 billion tokens, 1 XRP equals 1,000,000 drops, meaning 1 drop equals 0.000001 XRP.
This matters for the valuation case. At $15,000 per XRP, a single drop carries a value of $0.015. That level of granularity allows XRP to function as a settlement asset at extreme price levels without becoming impractical for small transactions. The digital asset’s design supports high valuations by default, while meeting settlement needs at a wide range of price levels.
Mino’s post connects this directly to XRP’s role in global payments. If XRP absorbs the settlement volume currently handled by SWIFT, the argument holds that the token’s price must rise to reflect the large-scale liquidity demand that comes with that role.
What the SWIFT Argument Adds
Recent reports suggest that Ripple has expressed willingness to work with SWIFT rather than against it. One proposed model puts Ripple in charge of settlement while SWIFT retains the messaging layer. That setup keeps SWIFT’s network of 11,000 financial institutions intact while routing value through XRP.

Ripple’s presence in SWIFT’s partner directory, confirmed in May, reinforces that scenario. Ripple was also listed as an exhibitor at Sibos 2026, SWIFT’s flagship banking conference. These developments support the view that XRP is moving closer to global settlement infrastructure, the exact environment Mino’s valuation depends on.
The $15,000 Target
Mino’s post argues that XRP’s original design anticipated a high-value settlement role, and that the drop system ensures usability even at $15,000 per token.
Whether that price materializes depends on the pace of institutional adoption and the extent to which Ripple’s settlement infrastructure penetrates the global banking system. However, she believes the architecture was built to support that outcome.
