Bankr developer: The Bankr X account has been compromised, users need to enable MFA in their Bankr accounts
According to Odaily, Bankr developer deployer posted on X to remind all Bankr users to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) within their Bankr accounts, stating that enabling MFA only on X or other social login accounts is not sufficient to secure account funds.
Previously, deployer stated on X that the Bankr X account had been compromised and had posted fake airdrop links, even though the account had previously been protected by a device-side Passkey. Deployer has requested that X remove the false posts and is assisting in investigating the reason for the account breach.
