Reporters today (25th) learned from Yanchang Petroleum Group that the Yandong coalbed methane field, located in the Ordos Basin, has proven geological reserves reaching 53.7 billion cubic meters. The relevant reserves have already passed the review and filing by the Ministry of Natural Resources. This discovery marks a major breakthrough for China in the field of deep unconventional resource exploration. (CCTV News)
