BUZZ-RTX surges after raising full-year forecast

** Co raises FY adj EPS forecast to $7.1 - $7.25, compared to prior forecast of $6.7 - $6.9
** RTX raises FY revenue forecast in range of $95 bln - $96 bln, compared to prior forecast of $92.5 bln - $93.5 bln
** Co posts Q2 adjusted EPS of $1.89 and revenue of $24.7 bln, both beating analysts' consensus estimates - data compiled by LSEG
** Co's units- Collins Aerospace reports revenue up by 8%, manufacturing unit up by 16% and defense business Raytheon up by 18% compared to last year
** Total backlog stands at $289 bln as of June 30, up nearly 22% YoY
** 17 out of 26 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, seven "hold" and two rate it "sell"; median PT is $220
** As of last close, stock has risen 6.3% YTD compared to a 10.5% increase in the Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC
