An exchange partners with Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Capital to launch a tokenized private equity fund
Foresight News reports, according to Fortune magazine, that Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Capital has announced a partnership with an exchange and infrastructure provider KAIO to launch a blockchain-native version of its long-term private equity fund, offering it as a compliant token to qualified investors. As part of the partnership, the exchange will operate this token on its Base blockchain and will personally purchase the token to include it on its balance sheet, marking the first time a US-listed company's US equity balance sheet has adopted regulated tokenized assets for native on-chain treasury management.
